Boston College volleyball coach Jackie Hadel has resigned to pursue other interests, according to Director of Athletics Gene DeFilippo.
"Jackie worked extremely hard to build a solid program for us at Boston College," DeFilippo says. "We are grateful for her hard work and dedication and wish her success in the future."
Hadel coached the women's volleyball team for five seasons, compiling a 70-82 record. She came to Chestnut Hill in the spring of 1998 after two seasons at the helm of the Rollins College volleyball team. Her overall head coaching record is 92-120.
A search for a replacement will begin immediately, according to DeFilippo.
