Track And Field Teams Conclude Second Day At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - Five Boston College relay teams competed Friday, April 25 at the Penn Relays, held at Franklin Field. The women's 4x1,500-meter relay had the best finish of the day, coming in eighth in a time of 18:05.54.
The women's shuttle hurdle relay placed ninth, crossing the finish line in 60.58. The other women's relay to compete on day two was the sprint medley squad, which came in 28th in 4:07.81.
Two men's relays ran on the second day of competition. The distance medley clocked a 10:09.82, good for a 24th-place finish, while the sprint medley finished 26th in 3:29.92.
Those athletes that did not take part in the Penn Relays will be at the Brown Invitational on Sunday, April 27.
