Men's Golf Finishes Ninth at the New England Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Boston College men's golf team finished ninth out of 19 schools at the New England Division I Championships, held April 12-13 at Triggs Memorial Golf Club. The Eagles finished with a team score of 312-311-623. Rhode Island won the event with a score of 293-299-592.
Sophomore Tim Connors and sophomore Eric Recher led BC, finishing tied for 36th place. Connors finished with a score of 78-78-156, while Recher scored 80-76-156. Freshman Matt King finished third for BC with a score of 78-80-158, good for 44th place.
Rounding out the top-five for BC were junior Sean McReynolds (82-77-159) and senior Patrick Martin (76-83-159), finishing tied for 47th place.
