Hockey to Face Ohio State in NCAA Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's hockey team was given the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament East Region and will face Ohio State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence. The Eagles are making their fifth tournament appearance in the last six seasons.
Boston College leads the all-time series with Ohio State, 3-1. The schools' last meeting was a 4-3 Boston College overtime victory on Oct. 9, 1998, in the Ice Breaker Tournament. The Eagles and the Buckeyes met in the 1998 national semifinals, with BC winning 5-2.
Boston College is making its 23rd appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Eagles have won two national titles, the most recent coming two years ago (2001).
