
Women's Tennis Gets Nipped By Brown, 4-3

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The women's tennis team lost a tight match Sunday, March 16 to Brown, 4-3, at the Pizzitola Center.
The Eagles (8-8) and Bears split the six singles matches, but Brown swept all three doubles matches to claim the deciding point.
Freshman Szilvia Szegedi (Dumkeszi, Hungary) and sophomore Morgan Landes (Huron, Ohio) won at Nos. 1 and 3, respectively, by identical 6-3, 6-3 scores. The other singles win came at No. 6 from junior Emily Hellberg (Spring Lake, Mich.), who took down Caroline Casey, 6-0, 7-5.
Boston College plays host to Seton Hall on Saturday, March 22 at 10 a.m.
