CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The women's tennis dispatched Seton Hall with ease Saturday, shutting out the Pirates, 7-0, at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
The Eagles (7-6, 4-2 BIG EAST) won all nine matches without dropping a set.
Senior Allison Ashley (Chestnut Hill, Mass.), junior Emily Hellberg (Spring Lake, Mich.) and sophomores Nida Waseem (Karachi, Pakistan) and Morgan Landes (Huron, Ohio) were double-winners on the day, claiming singles and doubles victories.
The team returns to action Sunday, April 6 when it plays host to St. John's at 11 a.m.
