Bell Gains USBWA All-America Second Team Honors

Boston College senior guard Troy Bell captured All-America second team honors from the United States Basketball Writers Association, according to an announcment made by the organization.
The honor came one day after Bell gained BIG EAST Player of the Year honors as well as USBWA District I Player of the Year accolades.
The USBWA's All-America first team was made up of Nick Collison of Kansas, T.J. Ford of Texas, Hollis Price of Oklahoma, Dwayne Wade of Marquette and David West of Xavier.
Joining Bell on the second team were Jason Gardner of Arizona, Josh Howard of Wake Forest, Carmelo Anthony of Syracuse and Kyle Korver of Creighton.
Boston College returns to action on Thursday, March 13 against St. John's in the quarterfinal round of the 2003 BIG EAST Championship Tournament. Game time is noon. The game can be seen on ESPN2.
