COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Hockey announced the roster for the 2003 United States Women's National Team, which will compete in the International Ice Hockey Federation Women's World Championship, to be held April 3-9 in Beijing, China. Boston College senior Genevieve Richardson was one of seven defensemen selected for the team.

Richardson is currently serving as the Eagles' assistant captain, and has prior national team experience with the 2002 U.S. Women's Select Team. The Monroe, Conn. native competed with the Select team at the Four Nations Cup in Kitchener, Ontario in November, after being chosen for the team at the National Festival.
