No. 2 Men's Hockey Drops Harvard, 3-2

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Senior Tony Voce netted two goals, including the gamewinner at 6:01 of the third period, to lead second-ranked Boston College to a 3-2 non-league win over Harvard before 4,862 fans at Kelley Rink.
Led by Voce, Boston College's top forward line tallied eight points. Senior center Ben Eaves registered three assists for the second straight game and sophomore wing Patrick Eaves recorded one goal and two assists. It was the second straight multi-point game for all three players.
With the victory, Boston College extended its unbeaten streak to 10 games. The Eagles have an 8-0-2 record in this stretch.
The score was tied at 2-2 after one period. Neither team scored again until Voce's decisive score in the final period.
Boston College (11-2-3) twice battled back from one-goal deficits. Harvard sophomore Charlie Johnson scored the game's first goal at 1:24 of the opening period, before Patrick Eaves tied the score with a power-play tally at 6:48. Ben Eaves and Ryan Shannon recorded the assists.
The visiting Crimson answered just 23 seconds later, capitalizing on a power-play opportunity. Junior Brendan Bernakevitch netted his second goal of the season. Voce finished the period's scoring, drawing BC even once again with a power-play goal at 16:08.
BC outshot Harvard, 38-18. Boston College has now recorded 10 or more shots in each of its last 18 regulation periods.
BC junior goaltender Matti Kaltiainen made 16 saves to earn his 11th win of the season. Harvard junior netminder Dov Grumet-Morris stopped 35 shots.
The loss dropped Harvard's record to 5-5-1.
