Men's Tennis Falls To St. Bonaventure, 6-1

FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. - The Boston College men's tennis team fell to St. Bonaventure, 6-1 on the second day of the ECAC Championships held at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
Freshman Dennis Reardon (Cohasset, Mass.) took home the only singles victory for the Eagles defeating Sajeel Qureshi in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. In other singles action, senior Justin Slattery (Hampton, N.H.) dropped his second three-set match in as many days 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 to Mario Arce in the No. 1 singles slot.
Slattery and junior Chris McCoy (Pittsburgh, Pa.) teamed up to beat Arce and Andrew Hart in doubles play, 9-8(5).
The Eagles will face 15th seeded St. Joseph's on Sunday for their final match of the tournament.
