
Men's Golf Finishes Third At ECAC Championship

Hamilton, N.Y. - The Boston College men's golf team finished third out of 14 teams at the ECAC Championship on Sunday at Seven Oaks Golf Course. Due to inclement weather, the tournament was shortened to just one round. The Eagles finished with a team score of 308, one shot behind Hartford and 10 behind Binghamton, which won the event. Binghamton's Keith Hendrickson was the individual medalist, shooting 70.
Eric Recher was the top Eagle finisher, posting a 74 and tying for fourth overall in the field of 70 players. Matt King was one shot behind, tied for sixth with a 75. Tim Connors shot 78, good for a tie for 27th. Jim Roney rounded out the scorers for BC, shooting an 81, which put him in a tie for 47th.
The men's golf team will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Cincinnati to participate in the Xavier University Invitational.
