Women's Cross Country Places Fifth At BIG EAST Championships

Bronx, N.Y. - The Boston College women's cross country team placed fifth in the 14-team field at Friday's BIG EAST Championships held at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y. The event was won by Notre Dame, who place five runners in the top 20. Kim Smith of Providence was the individual winner with a course-record time of 20:01.
Jennifer Kramer paced the Eagles, placing fourth overall with a time of 20:48. Jennifer Donovan was the second Eagle finisher, coming in 13th and posting a time of 21:27. Both runners earned All-BIG EAST Team honors for finishing in the top 15.
