Men's Tennis Hosts Second Annual Eagle Invitational

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's tennis team kicked off its fall season by hosting the second-annual Eagle Invitational Friday through Sunday, September 12-14, at the Flynn Recreation Complex. Manhattan College and Hofstra University made the trip to the Heights for the weekend's matches.
Boston College had a tough weekend as it was without its top two singles players, Justin Slattery (Hampton, N.H.) and Brad Anderson (Edina, Minn.). The Eagles were swept by Manhattan, 7-0 and lost six of nine matches to Hofstra in head coach Scott Wilkins debut at the Heights.
Boston College is back in action Friday, September 26 when they travel to Providence, R.I. for the Northeast Invitational.
