Craig Smith Suffers Knee Injury

Boston College sophomore forward Craig Smith suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee while playing basketball on Sunday, September 28 and will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Friday, October 3.
The injury will sideline Smith for 2-4 weeks. Boston College's first official practice of the 2003-04 season is Saturday, October 18.
Smith earned All-BIG EAST second-team honors as a freshman last winter. He averaged 19.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game last winter. He shot 60.8 percent from the field, tops among all BIG EAST players.
