Women's Cross Country Ranked No. 8 in Preseason Poll

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's cross country team was ranked No. 8 in the FinishLynx Women's Cross County preseason poll, earning 286 points overall. The women finished sixth overall at the NCAA Championships last fall. Brigham Young, the defending national champions, earned the top spot in the poll with 386 points.

The women open their season Sat., Sept. 7, at the Central Connecticut State University Invitational. The race will be held at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, Conn.
