College Park, Md. - The Boston College volleyball team was defeated by the University of Maryland by a score of three games to none Saturday morning at the Terrapin Invitational in College Park, Md. Maryland remains undefeated on the season, standing at an impressive 9-0, their second-best start in the school's NCAA history. Boston College is now 4-4 on the year.
Maryland won the first game handily, 30-25. The Eagles responded in the second and third games and played close games, but could not upset the Terrapins, losing 29-31 and 28-30.
Boston College will face Indiana University (6-2) Saturday evening at 5:00.
