Volleyball Team Selects Captain

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-The Boston College Volleyball team has selected Kim Carlson (Rosary High School/Batavia, Ill.) as their 2002 captain. Carlson, a senior, was elected to the position by her teammates. She has been an integral member of the team since her freshman year. Coach Jackie Hadel brought Carlson, along with fellow seniors Lauren Schwer and Rachel Bach to the Heights as members of her first recruiting class in the fall of 1999.
Carlson, the Batavia, Ill. native attended Rosary High School and played club volleyball with Sports Performance. She is a middle blocker for the Eagles and is currently enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
