Villanova, PA -- The Boston College men's tennis team collected a 7-0 blanking over BIG EAST rival Villanova Saturday afternoon in a game played at the Villanova Outdoor Tennis Complex in Villanova, PA. With the win, the Eagles have won six in a row and are 10-7 overall. They are a perfect 4-0 in BIG EAST play.
BC won all but one match over the Wildcats, dropping just one of the three doubles matches, but still winning the doubles point. Paul Colahan (Beverly, MA) improved to a team-best 11-5 overall while Chris McCoy (Pittsburgh, PA) improved to 9-6 with his victory at third singles.
Boston College will close out the regular season with two home games. The Eagles will host BIG EAST foe Rutgers (April 13) and Rhode Island (April 16).
