Chestnut Hill, MA -- The Boston College women's tennis team was edged by cross-town rival Boston University, 4-3, Tuesday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex Tennis Courts in Chestnut Hill, MA. With the loss, the Eagles stand at 6-10 overall and 5-1 in BIG EAST play.
Despite winning the doubles point, BC fell in four of the six singles matches against the Terriers. Nida Waseem (Karachi, Pakistan) and Anisha Fernando (Lake Oswego, OR) won their singles matches at #3 and #6, respectively.
Boston College will close out the regular season with a 10 am match against Massachusetts on Saturday. The match will be held at the Flynn Recreation Complex Tennis Courts.
