Women's Tennis Drops Massachusetts, 6-1

CHESTNUT HILL, MA - In the final regular season dual match, the Boston College women's tennis team topped area rival Massachusetts, 6-1, Saturday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex Tennis Courts in Chestnut Hill, MA. With the win, the Eagles stand at 7-10 overall and 5-1 in BIG EAST play.
BC jumped out of the gate quickly, winning the doubles point behind team victories at #2 and #3 doubles. The Eagles then went on to win all but the #2 singles match. Four of the five BC singles win were in straight sets.
Boston College will compete in this weekend's BIG EAST Championship to be held in Miami, FL April 19-21.
