CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- Boston College freshman goaltender Lisa Davis (Falmouth, Mass.) was named the ECAC Eastern League's Rookie of the Week on March 4. The announcement marks the third time this season that she has won the weekly award.

Davis backstopped the Eagles' to a 1-0 upset over Providence College on Mar. 3. She set a new career-high with 45 saves against the Friars en route to the fourth shutout of her career. For the season, she has registered a 2.54 GAA with a .919 save percentage, starting 29 of BC's 31 games.

Davis and BC next take the ice against Northeastern University on Friday, Mar. 8 at Matthews Arena in the opening round of the ECAC East Tournament. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
