Chestnut Hill, MA -- The Boston College men's tennis team collected a 7-0 blanking over BIG EAST rival Connecticut Wednesday afternoon in a game played at the Flynn Recreation Courts on the Boston College campus in Chestnut Hill, MA. With the win, the Eagles have won four in a row and are 8-7 overall. They are 2-0 in BIG EAST play.
BC won all but one of the six singles matches in straight sets. Paul Colahan (Beverly, MA) improved to 9-5 overall with his 7-6, 7-6 victory at fifth singles. He also partnered with Bob Murray (Kenner, LA) to take an 8-6 win at the third singles slot.
Boston College will take to the road for its next three matches. The Eagles will next face Providence Tuesday afternoon.
