Boston College senior forward Uka Agbai sustained a neck injury in the Eagles' game against Holy Cross on Sunday, December 1. The injury will sideline Agbai for at least six weeks.
"With an injury that serious, it's important to be extra careful. His health is our first concern," BC head coach Al Skinner said. "Hopefully once he gets healthy he can come back and play for us."
Agbai averaged 14.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in the team's first three games of the 2002-03 season. He registered 15 points and four rebounds against Holy Cross.
