Men's Basketball Prepares For Game Against Holy Cross

Coming off an 80-61 home victory over Boston University, the Boston College men's basketball team will return to action on Sunday, Dec. 1 against Holy Cross. The game will be played at the Worcester Centrum. Game time is 2 p.m.

The Eagles rebounded from a season-opening loss to Saint Joseph's to gain a win over the Terriers. Senior Troy Bell scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Eagles.

Boston College and Holy Cross met twice last winter, with the Eagles winning both games. BC downed the Crusaders, 75-51, in Conte Forum on Dec. 16, 2001, and then defeated its Jesuit rival, 67-57, in the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Dec. 22, 2001.
