Maria Cicero Finishes 18th at NCAA Cross Country Championships

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Boston College sophomore Maria Cicero finished in 18th place at the 2002 NCAA Division I National Cross Country Championships, held Monday at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind. Cicero completed the six-kilometer course in 20:13.7.
Cicero earned All-America honors with her 18th-place finish, as the top-25 finishers in the race are bestowed the honor.
Monday marked the third time in Cicero's young career that she garnered All-America honors. Cicero was named an All-American after her 16th-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships last season and again after finishing fifth in the 10-kilometer event at the 2002 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 34:52.76.
