Anderson And Slattery Lose In Semis At ITA Regional Championships

PHILADELPHIA - The run of juniors Brad Anderson (Edina/Edina, Minn.) and Justin Slattery (Central Catholic/Andover, Mass.) in the doubles draw at the OMNI HOTELS/ITA Eastern Regional Championships ended Monday as the pair lost in the semifinals to Brown's Adil Shamasdin and Nick Goldberg, 8-0.
The No. 12 seed, Anderson and Slattery won four matches in a row at the Robert P. Levy Tennis Pavilion, including one over the No. 3-seeded duo from St. Bonaventure on Saturday, to reach the semis. Their record this season stands at 11-5.
The Eagles conclude the fall campaign Oct. 8-11 in Hanover, N.H., at the Dartmouth Invitational.
