Bach Honored As Player Of The Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Boston College senior Rachel Bach earned the BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week award for the week of Oct. 14-20 as announced today by the Conference office. The 6-1 right side player helped lead the Eagles to a perfect 3-0 mark last week, as they defeated Quinnipiac University and BIG EAST foes Providence and West Virginia.
Bach currently leads the Eagles with 318 kills this season, on a .290 hitting percentage. Defensively, she has contributed 61 blocks, good for second on the team. This week, she hit .314 overall, recording 58 kills, 26 of which came against Quinnipiac in the Eagles' 3-0 rout of the Bobcats.
Bach and the Eagles are scheduled to meet Sacred Heart University on Wednesday, Oct. 23 in Power Gymnasium at 8 p.m.
