Women's Golf Finishes Second at Rutgers Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Boston College women's golf team finished second at this weekend's Rutgers Invitational, held at the Rutgers Golf Club in Piscataway, N.J. The Eagles finished with a score of 334-326-660. Boston College finished one stroke behind Georgetown who won the event with a score of 333-326-659.
Sophomore Kori Goulet led the Eagles, finishing tied for 13th place with a score of 84-80-164. Two shots behind Goulet was freshman Elizabeth Friel who finished tied for 17th with a score of 82-84-166. Rounding out the Eagle finishers in the top 25 were junior Kerry Whalen who was tied for 23rd place with a score of 85-82-167, and sophomore Moira O'Connell who shot 83-85-168 for 25th place. Sophomore Tiffany Werning finished tied for 35th with a score of 91-80-171.
Boston College closes out its 2002 fall season Oct. 26-27 at the Georgetown Invitational.
