Women's Golf Finishes Third at ECAC Championships

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Boston College women's golf team finished third out of 14 schools at this weekend's ECAC Division I Women's Golf Championship, held in Gettysburg, Pa. The Eagles finished with a score of 334-153-487. Princeton won the event with a score of 316-151-467.
Boston College got outstanding performances by sophomores Kori Goulet and Moira O'Connell who finished tied for seventh place. Goulet shot a 79-38-117 while O'Connell shot a 83-34-117. Also scoring for Boston College were junior Kerry Whalen (21st place, 84-45-127), freshman Elizabeth Friel (28th place, 84-45-129) and sophomore Erin Kushi (63rd place, 109-42-151).
Boston College returns to action Friday, Oct. 18, when they participate in the Rutgers Invitational in Piscataway, N.J.
