Men's Golf Finishes Eighth at Collegiate Classic

SOMERVILLE, N.J. - The Boston College men's golf team finished in eighth place at this weekends' ShuRu Collegiate Classic, hosted by Seton Hall University and Rutgers University. The team finished with a score of 332. The event, held at Royce Brook Golf Club in Somerville, N.J., was originally scheduled for two days, but Friday's play was cancelled due to inclement weather. Campbell University won the event with a score of 307.
Sophomore Tom Connors finished the classic tied for third place with a score of 40-36-76. Junior Chris Sanossian was the Eagles' second finisher, shooting 45-39-84.
Boston College closes out its fall season Oct. 21 and 22 when they travel to the Pirates Fall Intercollegiate held in Greenville, N.C.
