Q: When making your final decision to attend Boston College, what was the main reason for your choice?
"BC was the whole deal to me - a great academic school, with an up-and-coming volleyball team, and a beautiful campus."
Q: What do you hope to get out of your experience at Boston College?
"In short, I want a shot at the BIG EAST title, to earn a degree in Math and Spanish and have friends and experiences that will last a lifetime."
Q: What makes volleyball such an appealing game to play?
"I like volleyball because it is such a mental game. A net seperates you from your opponents so you can only interact through mental games. I think volleyball is a perfect blend of physical and mental strength."
Q: What is your greatest athletic moment? Why?
"My greatest moment was getting 36 kills in a high school match."
Q: Who is the toughest player (high school or college) that you have faced? Why?
"This is easy. Anyone of my teammates but especially Nancy Legan because she pushes me more than even I think is humanly possible."
Q: What is the best about Boston College?
"BC has the entire experience - athletics, academics and a great city."
Q: Where is your favorite place to go in Boston?
"I have two favorite places. The first is Harvard Square because there is a great crepe store there. The second is the corner of Mass Ave. & Boylston St. because I love to people watch."
Q: What is the best advice you have ever received?
"Any advice I've ever received from my parents is good advice. Their love, support and motivation has kept me going, through everything."
Q: If you could talk to three people deceased or alive, who would they be?
"I would love to talk to Truman Capote, Malcolm X and Salvador Dali."
Q: What is something that people do not know about you?
"I love to eat Tums."
Q: Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
"I see myself living in the Midwest."
Q: What is your hometown know for?
"Batavia is the city of energy. We have an atom smasher!"
Q: What is your favorite sports team?
"The Chicago Bulls, but not as much now, as in the early 90's."
Q: What is your favorite Web site?
"I really don't go online to do anything but check my mail, so it would be www.bc.edu/ontheroad."
