Men's And Women's Cross Country Meet Rescheduled

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The men's and women's cross country teams will run in their first meets of the 2001 season on Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Boston College Invitational at Franklin Park. The meet was supposed to be held on Friday, Sept. 14, but the meet was postponed due to the tragedies in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.

The No. 2 ranked women's team will run at 3:30 p.m., which will then be followed by the men at 4:15.

Teams participating in the meet are Central Connecticut State University, Iona College, Providence College, Northeastern University, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, University of New Hampshire and the University of Rhode Island.
