This Weekend's Games Cancelled

Boston College's two games this weekend are cancelled due to the national tragedy. The Eagles are scheduled to face Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va., on Saturday, Sept. 22.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College athletic department, in conjunction with the BIG EAST Conference, has announced that all intercollegiate athletic contests scheduled between Wednesday, Sept. 12 and Monday, Sept. 17 have been suspended due to the national tragedy on Tuesday. Both Boston College men's soccer games scheduled for this weekend have been affected.

The Eagles will not travel to University Park, Pa. to participate in the Penn State Nike Classic. Both games - Friday night's game against Ohio State and Saturday night's game against Penn State - have been cancelled.

The men's soccer team's next scheduled opponent is Virginia Tech on Saturday, Sept. 22 in Blacksburg, Va.
