Sailing has Topnotch Weekend

Boston, Mass.- Sailing had a busy weekend competing in three different events this weekend. Boston College comes in to the season with two national rankings to protect, the co-ed team is ranked fourth and the women are ninth. Leading off the weekend the Eagles finished second out of twenty-four teams in the prestigious Captain Hurst Bowl, held at Dartmouth. The teams of senior Tyler Pruett and freshman Joy MacDougal and junior Mark Teborek and freshman Julia Wilson captured the runners-up sot.
Over at Tufts, Boston College competed in the Women's Captain's Cup and finished sixth. The A division led by junior Carrie Howe and freshman Jen Doyle took an eighth place finish home and the B division managed a third place senior Cryssa Byers and junior Kate Wisotzkey.
The Pine Trophy Sloop Intersectional had one Boston College entry with junior skipper Henrik Wennerstrom and junior G.W. Killory at crew. The team finished up fifth out of seventeen schools, with a third place showing in the first race and winning the third race.
