Bell, USA Remain Undefeated in Hoop Tournament

Boston College junior guard Troy Bell registered eight points as Team USA defeated previously undefeated Israel, 98-74, in the FIBA World Championship for Young Men Tournament in Saitama, Japan.
Bell, who played 28 minutes, shot 3-for-11 from the field, including 2-for-4 from three-point range. He also added three rebounds and two assists.
With preliminary-round games now completed, the United States returns to action on Friday, August 10 for a quarterfinal-round game against Slovenia.

Bell scored 13 points (5-for-10 FG, 3-for-6 three-pointers) in Team USA's 123-87 win over host Japan on Tuesday, August 7.
