York to Participate in Lowell Spinners' Pregame Ceremony

Boston College hockey coach Jerry York will be among a number of New England sports figures who will participate in a special ceremony prior to the Lowell Spinners' baseball game on Tuesday, August 7, 2001.
The Lowell Spinners, a Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, play their home games at LeLacheur Park, right behind Tsongas Arena, in Lowell, Mass. The Spinners will host the Brooklyn Cyclones at 7 p.m.
York will join other notable sports figures including 1960 Heisman Trophy winner Joe Bellino, former Harvard hockey coach and athletic director Bill Cleary, Lowell's own Micky Ward, a nationally-recognized welterweight boxer, former New England Patriots Pete Brock, Tim Fox and Andy Johnson, former Boston Bruins star Ken Hodge, and former Red Sox pitcher Dick Radatz.
