Over the summer, several members of the men's soccer team played soccer in various national leagues or organizations.
- Three current members of the men's soccer team - junior forward Casey Schmidt, sophomore back Paul Chase and sophomore forward Adam Pfeifer - spent all or part of the summer playing for the Cape Cod Crusaders, a club in the Premier Development League affiliated with the Bulldogs. Schmidt tallied 18 goals in 18 games this summer, while Chase was a member of the backfield. Pfeifer played several games at the beginning of the season.
- Incoming freshman Bill Arnault was a member of the United States National Under-18 team this summer. The team played in tournaments in Holland and Germany over the summer.
- Two older Eagles - former All-America goalkeeper Chris Hamblin and men's assistant coach Zach Samol - are currently playing for the Boston Bulldogs, the local D3 League entry. Hamblin was one of the top goalkeepers in the league during the regular season, ranking sixth with his 1.41 goals against average. Samol started at left back in each of the games he played as the Bulldogs captured the D3 League Northeast Conference title with a 10-6-2 record.
- Also over the summer, Hamblin joined the BC women's soccer coaching staff as head coach Alison Foley's primary assistant.
