CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men and women's track and field teams competed in a non scoring meet at Harvard on Sunday, April 28. The men's team competed against both Harvard and Boston University and the women's competed only against Harvard.
Taking second place n the 100-meter race was Zoey O'Sullivan (12.81) and in third was Nikke Pogue (13.12). In her second race, O'Sullivan took third in the 200-meter dash (26.57).
Winning the 400-meter race, Jenifer Vendetti ran a 57.49. Lauren Claudia followed closely behind in second with a 57.80. Danielle Jelley won the 1,500-meters in a time of 4:44.04.
Kate Sullivan took second place in the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 15.60. Following, Christina Regan finished third with a 15.64. In the 400-meter intermediate hurdles, Regan finished second (65.07) and Erin Maloney took a close third (65.67).
In the high jump Regan took second and Julie Heyde finished third. Winning the long jump Regan jumped 5.34 meters. Katina McCrory took third in the long jump (5.14). In the discus Megan Kearney finished second. Lindsay Hudnut took third in the javilin (34.08).
In the men's 400-meters Mark Johnson won with a time of 50.07. Kevin Hansberry took second place in the same event with a 52.94. Winning the 1,500-meter race, Mark Fonnemann ran a 3:59.11. Following Shawn Wallace was third, Brian Mahoney was fourth, Byron Gartrell was fifth and Kevin Lyons was sixth.
Keith Normant took third place with a 16.25 in the 110 meter high hurdles. In the 400 intermediate hurdles, Normant won with a 53.96. In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Nate Buttrick took second (9:50.60) and Christian Deluke was third (10:11.50).
