HANOVER, N.H. - The Boston College men's lacrosse team was shut out, 12-0, by the Big Green of Dartmouth in lacrosse action on Tueday, April 24. With the loss, the Eagles fall to 1-9, while Dartmouth improves to 5-6 overall (1-3 Ivy League).
Unable to muster anything indicative of an offensive attack, it was a struggle for the Eagles from the outset. A goal by Dartmouth's Chris O'Hara just 1:36 into the game set an ugly precedent for the Eagles.
Dartmouth built upon O'Hara's goal and came out of the first quarter with a 4-0 advantage and never looked back.
Junior netminder James Karambay (Newington, CT), peppered by shots for much of the afternoon, made 23 saves.
Head coach Dave Curnick and the Eagles will be back in action this Saturday, April 28 when they play host to the Crusaders of Holy Cross. The game is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
