CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's tennis team is currently ranked No. 58 in the latest WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings. The ranking is the highest ever in the history of the BC women's tennis program. The Eagles jumped eight spots from their initial national ranking of 66 last week.
"This is quite an accomplishment for our team," says BC head coach Nigel Bentley, whose Eagles post an overall record of 8-5 and are 4-1 in BIG EAST competition. "Collegiate tennis is an exciting sport and our team here at BC is really beginning to gel."
Boston College returns to action on Sunday, April 1, when the Eagles travel to Dartmouth for a 12:00 p.m. match. The next home match is Satuday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m. against Providence at the Flynn Complex.
