Boston College Set To Host Women's Ice Hockey Beanpot Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- The 23rd women's ice hockey Beanpot Tournament will be held at Boston College's Kelly Rink, in Conte Forum, in Chestnut Hill, Mass, on Tues. Feb. 6 and Tues. Feb. 13.
In the opening round of the tournament, no. 8 ranked Northeastern will face Boston University at 5:00 p.m on Feb. 6. Following at 8:00 p.m., no. 5 ranked Harvard will play Boston College. The winner of each game will advance to the finals of the Beanpot Tournament, which will be held the following week on Tues. Feb. 13. The other two teams will play in the consolation round which precedes the championship game at 5:00 p.m.
Following the championship game, the winner will be presented with the Beanpot trophy. Immediately after the game, the tournament MVP will be announced, along with the Joe Bertagna award - given to the most outstanding goalie.
