CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The Boston College women's basketball team received four national letters of intent from its 2002 class of recruits. The four incoming players give Boston College the 22nd-best recruiting class, according to Blue Star Index.
The following is a list of players who will join the Boston College women's basketball team as freshmen next season:
Lisa Macchia 6-4 Center Levittown, NY/Island Trees HS * 22.ppg, 18.0 rpg, 5 bpg, 2 apg (as a senior) * two-time Street & Smith's Honorable Mention All-America * All-Long Island (junior) * all-state (junior) * rated 88th by Blue Star Index * National Honor Society
Aja Parham 6-0 Guard/Forward Florham Park, NJ/Hanover HS * 18.2 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 6.0 apg, 4.0 spg, 3.5 bpg * all-state * Street & Smith's Honorable Mention All-America
