Grapplers Fall to Drexel and Seton Hall

Philadelphia, Penn. - In their second dual meet of the weekend, Boston College competed against Drexel and Seton Hall University in Philadelphia, Penn. The Eagles fell to Seton Hall by a score of 48-3 and to Drexel by a score of 45-2. Their dual meet record fell to 1-3 following the meet while their ECWA conference record stands at 0-2.

Senior captain Steve Pregiato was 0-2 on the day, wrestling in two tough matches against Seton Hall's Mike Settembrino and Drexel's Andy Ciasulli. The final scores of these matches were 12-4 and 12-2, respectively. Pregiato's overall match record fell to 10-8 following his two losses. Co-Captain Dan Degan managed to improve his record to 15-6 with two victories today. Degan defeated Seton Hall's Zeke Hernandez 13-5 and Drexel's Dan Kennett 2-1.

Boston College will compete next against Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, January 20, 2001.
