Men's Hoops Set For European Tour

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College men's basketball team is currently preparing for a 12-day European tour that will include exhibition games in France and Switzerland.
The Eagles began practicing for the tour on Saturday, August 12. The team will depart Boston for Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday, August 17. Boston College will play six games on the trip -- five in Switzerland and one in France.
The team will spend two nights in Zurich, three nights in Vevey, Switzerland, three nights in Lyon, France, and two nights in Nice, France.
The team will return to Chestnut Hill on Monday, August 28.
The nine players returning from the 1999-2000 team will make the trip overseas. The three incoming freshmen are not eligible to participate.
