WEST HARTFORD, CT - The Boston College women's golf team finished second at the Hartford Invitational held on the 5,894-yard par 74 course at the Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford, Connecticut on April 16-17. Boston College finished with a two-day score of 674 (335-339). Rutgers University won the 14 team, 36 hole competition with a two day score of 664 (332-332).
Katie Shields led Boston College, finishing tied for third with a two-day score of 160 (76-84). All five members of the Boston College team placed among the top 20. Suzanne Carrazza placed seventh (86-81-167), Jackie Shea (86-88-174) and Roxanne Somboonsiri (88-86-174) tied for 12th, and Tina Haydu (87-91-178) placed 18th overall.
