Women's Track Competes at UConn Invitational

The women's track team competed at the Connecticut Invitational on April 7 in Storrs, Conn. The team finished fifth with 83 points.

The Eagles had six second-place finishes. In the 100-meter dash, freshman Nikki Pogue ran a 12.38. Sophomore Meghan Cunniff ran a 2:20 in the 800-meters. Junior Kate Sullivan ran a 15:19 in the 100-meters hurdles and junior Lauren Claudia ran a 1:05 in the 400-meter hurdles.

In the field events, Sullivan picked up a second with 16'7.5" long jump and freshman Megan Kearney threw a 130'7" discus toss for second place.

Boston College will next compete at Dartmouth on April 15 in Hanover, N.H.
