The Eagles (26-11-1) are seeded fourth in the West Regional. Should they get by the Spartans, they would face top-seeded Wisconsin on Saturday, March 25, for the right to advance to the Frozen Four in Providence on April 6 & 8.
Both games will begin at 9:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, and will be shown live on Fox Sports New England.
Last year, the Eagles were sent to the West Regional, where they defeated Northern Michigan and North Dakota to reach the national semifinals. Boston College will be aiming for a third consecutive trip to the Frozen Four.
