Women Compete at Harvard Invitational Track Meet

The women's track team raced at the Harvard Invitational this past weekend at the Gordon Track on Harvard's Cambridge, Mass. campus.
Freshman Nikki Pogue and sophomore Nicole Portley won their respective races to lead the Eagles, who also took five second-place finishes and seven third-place nods.
Pogue won her fifth meet of the year in the short sprint (55M or 60M dash), with her 7.85 in the 60M run. Sophomore Zoey O'Sullivan took third in the race with her 8.01. O'Sullivan also took third in the 200M with her 26.80.
Portley won her first race of the season with her 17:46 in the 5000M.
The other Eagle scores came from: sophomore Kate Sullivan (second-60M hurdles), sophomore Meghan Cunniff (third-800M), freshman Meghan Andrade (second-mile), sophomore Meredith Millet (third-3000M), junior Kristyn O'Brien (second-pole vault), freshman Meghan Kearney (third-20 lb. weight) and Christina Regan (second-high jump, third-triple jump).
The Eagles will next compete at the New Hampshire and Vermont meet on Saturday, February 12 in Durham, N.H.
