Women's Lacrosse Wins Season Opener against Denver, 19-10

The women's lacrosse team opened up its 2000 season in winning fashion by defeating the University of Denver, 19-10, on Monday February 21 in a game played at the University of North Carolina.
Boston College (1-0) secured its win on six goals by senior Susan Pitt and four each from junior co-captain Emily Ryan and sophomore Lauren Miller. Ryan also added three assists and Miller chipped in four.
The women's lacrosse team will next be in action on March 11 when the Eagles face Brown in a game being played at Bentley College at 1 p.m.
