Kelleher Honored By HOCKEY EAST

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Freshman goalie Tim Kelleher (Belmont, Mass), the top-ranked goaltender in HOCKEY EAST this season, earned the league's Goalie of the Month honors for January.
Kelleher posted a 4-1-1 record in six games during the month with a 1.42 goals against average and a .940 save percentage. The freshman did not allow more than two goals in any game, and he posted his second career shutout against Providence on Jan. 23, stopping 29 shots in a 6-0 victory.
For the season, Kelleher now has an 8-3-1 record in 12 games. He leads all HOCKEY EAST netminders with a 1.72 GAA and a .930 save percentage.
The Eagles (16-7-1, 9-6-1 HEA) will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 4 when they travel to UMass-Lowell for a 7 p.m. contest.
